Khan academy is an excellent on line learning site . It is very refreshing way of teaching a variety of subjects from mathematics to history.
It is a not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere.

The founder of the organization,Salman Khan (of Bangladeshi origin )was born and raised in Louisiana . He earned three degrees from MIT and MBA from Harvard business school . After a brief stint as a hedge fund manager, he started teaching mathematics using yahoo doddle notepad. His Khan academy gets a limited support from Bill Gates Foundation.
